Join us this fall for our One Water Partnership Cabin John Creek Interfaith Stewardship Event! Connect with fellow faithful stewards and other concerned people to take action, gain valuable resources, and plan for the future!
All are welcome to lend your time and talent to this faith-led effort to protect restore and act justly in our shared watershed. This is a family friendly event.
WHERE: Cabin John Regional Park, 7400 Tuckerman Lane, Bethesda, MD 20817
WHEN: 2PM to 5PM
Activities will include:

Weed Warrior vine-cutting adventure:
- Limited to 20 volunteers (ages 16+)
- Please complete the volunteer agreement here by Sept 23 and
email to [email protected] - What to wear and bring? Please wear long pants that
cover your ankles, long socks, long sleeves, and sturdy,
closed-toed shoes or boots. Wear gardening-type gloves,
if you have them! Bring loppers and/or hand pruners
if you have them. We will have tools and gloves to borrow
if you don’t have your own. Please bring water to drink.

- Stream cleanup
- Macro-Invertebrate exploration
- Critter bingo
- Nature art project
- Resource tables
- Smores
