    Chlorpyrifos Lobby Night

    Lobby Night and Training for Chlorpyrifos Ban Bill

    pesticides_crops.jpgThe Maryland Smart on Pesticides Coalition is holding a training and lobby night to promote a bill to ban chlorpyrifos. Training will last 1 hour (with food - including vegetarian and gluten-free options) and then lobby teams will disperse for meetings and to drop off informational packets in legislative offices.

    Our Faithful Green Leaders Action Planning workshop will be held on February 13, 2020, 6:30pm - 8:30pm, at St. Andrew by the Bay, 701 College Parkway, Annapolis, MD 21409.
     

    We are partnering with Watershed Stewards Academy-Anne Arundel (WSA) and this will be an opportunity to develop an action plan for your Green Team and receive coaching and technical assistance from IPC and WSA.

    Join us for an Interfaith Prayer Circle prior to the Environmentally focused Baltimore Mayoral Forum. Let's come together to demonstrate to the future leader of Baltimore City that people of faith are concerned about the preservation and restoration of God's creation.

    What Contributes to Successful Actions & How to Avoid Pitfalls

    Our guest speakers will be:

    Gary Gellespie, member of Homewood Friends Meeting in Baltimore, who will speak about their project of installing a Pollinator Garden Bird Friendly Habitat on their small congregation grounds.
    Chris Gordon, member of Holy Communion Catholic Church and Master Watershed Steward in Anne Arundel County, who will speak about the methods and importance of maintaining your project once it's in the ground.
