IPC is delighted to work with our partners at the Lower Shore Land Trust in growing the One Water Partnership on Maryland's Lower Eastern Shore.   The Salisbury Independent highlighted some of our recent successes in an article about St. Peter's Episcopal Church and St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. 

St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Salisbury received a $64,000 grant from the Chesapeake Bay Trust in December of 2020.  The grant will provide support to the congregation in removing impervious blacktop parking surfaces and incorporating native plants on their property.

St. Francis de Sales is eager to follow on their heels, and complete their own stormwater mitigation project.

These congregations are leading the way in demonstrating the power of the faith community in helping to restore our local waterways.
