Ascension Lutheran is still Going Green and we need YOUR help!

Join us for the second day of fall planting at Ascension Lutheran Church in Willow Street, Pennsylvania; Waxwing Ecoworks will be on-site to finish-up planting Ascension's brand new meadow, along with other native plantings, and make sure the landscape is ready for the cooler, non-growing months! We can't finish the work alone, so we hope you will join us for some (or all!) of the day!

Wear close-toed shoes and comfortable clothes and please bring water (ideally in a reusable container!). We will have some tools and other equipment, but if you would like to bring your own, you may--in particular, if you have a  trowels, kneeler, or soil knife. We do recommend labelling any of your own equipment with your name, if you bring it! Please also note that this is one of two event days; we are also be working the previous day, on October 2nd.
