Saint Martin of Tours Catholic Church and School became a partner congregation in 2026. The school was established in 1925 and covers grades pre-K through 8th grade.

A 2023 Gaithersburg Environmental Award winner, the student organized green team developed an action plan with a goal of increasing awareness of their church and school's role in restoring the Chesapeake Bay, by inspiring the students and staff to recycle and to plant native plants in the school community.

In addition to hosting educational activities in the school to help students understand the importance of being good environmental stewards, the team: 1) installed a pollinator garden, 2) promoted good habits such as using re-usable bottles and less plastic, and producing less trash, and 3) planted more than 70 trees and shrubs as part of the Trees for Sacred Places Program.
