December is a special time of the year for so many of our faith traditions.  It's also a time to gather with friends and family to celebrate the blessings of the year.  We are inviting you to join IPC at one of our regional One Water Partnership Solstice Gatherings to help celebrate the blessings of community, friendships, and Creation!

IPC will be hosting multiple events throughout our service area, so there is bound to be an event near you!

Join us from 2-4pm at Empowering Believers Church for a bonfire, food, and drink as we celebrate the accomplishments and friendships forged in Anne Arundel County over the past year.

Baltimore, MD - 1pm @ Stillmeadow PeacePark-Register HERE

Join us at Stillmeadow Community Fellowship's PeacePark for an interfaith winter solstice walk on Sunday December 19, 1-2:30pm. We will explore the local ecosystem while engaging in spiritual practices highlighting different faith traditions. The walk will last about an hour with light refreshments provided. There is paved parking available. The trail itself is mulch and can be steep in places. Please bring water and dress warmly.

Harford County, MD - 1pm @ Jerusalem Mill Park-Register HERE

Join us at Jerusalem Mill Park for an interfaith winter solstice walk on Sunday December 19, 1-2:30pm. We will explore the local ecosystem while engaging in spiritual practices highlighting different faith traditions. The walk will last about an hour with light refreshments provided. There is paved parking available along with port-a-pots, the trail itself is gravel and dirt. Please bring water and dress warmly.

Lancaster County, PA - 1pm @ Lancaster County Park-Register HERE

Join us at Lancaster County Park for a winter solstice walk on Sunday December 19, 1-2pm. We will take some time to explore nature using the time to reflect on our own spiritual journeys as the year draws to a close. We will meet at the Historic Rockford parking lot. Dress warmly and bring a warm beverage of choice

Wicomico County, MD - 1pm @ Pemberton Park-Register HERE

Join us at Pemberton Historical Walk for a winter solstice walk led by Cheryl Sidwell.  Cheryl will be sharing reflections on nature, the shortest day of the year, and perspectives from her Native American heritage and other traditions.  Following the walk, participants are invited to join the One Water Partnership in making evergreen decorations using fresh-cut greenery. All materials needed will be provided.
