Wondering what our Green Teams have done?

Over the years we have been inspired by the fantastic actions that our teams have taken on. Here are just a few examples. To see more check out our full list and map of green teams here from throughout the Chesapeake Bay area.

Oseh Shalom Congregation - Anne Arundel
Our green team partners at Oseh Shalom have been busy! This spring they planted more than 90 native trees on their property with help of nearly 60 volunteers from the community. Together, the team helps to maintain the trees to ensure that they thrive. Additionally, With the support of their faith leaders Rabbis Daria and Josh Jacobs-Velde, the team maintains the native gardens on their grounds that create nurturing habitats for wildlife.

Grace Episcopal Church - Montgomery County
Soon after the green team at Grace Episcopal Church formed, they got right to work on their action plan. They have planted 10 trees on the property to help manage flooding on their parking lot. This spring, during Earth Month they came together again to install a beautiful 500 sq ft. native plant pollinator garden on their grounds. Join us at our next Learning Lab webinar in September to learn how they did it!
