Growing up on the beautiful coastlines of Sydney, Australia, Katie was enchanted by waterways and natural environments from a young age. Many summer afternoons were spent down by the river, feet in the mud, exploring the flora and fauna. This was also their first exposure to the harm that occurs when pollution and trash end up in our waterways. Katie holds a BA in Christian theology and an MA in Public Leadership. They bring a variety of non-profit, faith-based, and organizational experience to their position as Outreach Coordinator. They are passionate about peacemaking and justice, particularly through the lens of ecofeminism and interfaith collaboration.
When she’s not working or studying, Katie loves to explore new places, read, and play music. She is almost always found with a cup of tea in hand.
