When we come together, it's amazing what we can achieve!
Interfaith Partners for the Chesapeake (IPC) has partnered with Potomac Riverkeeper Network (PRKN) for a special 'Water Wednesday' program on the Power of Service! We hope to see you there for this special lunch-hour virtual event.
In this program you'll learn all about how impactful volunteerism has been for IPC and PRKN, about the "state-of-the-Potomac", and how communities of faith are unifying together to pledge their commitment to the Chesapeake Bay! We hope to celebrate together the importance of our volunteers, and we hope you can join us!
Thank you from all of us for what you've achieved, and what we will achieve together!

About our Speakers!
Morgan Bench - is the Volunteer Coordinator for Potomac Riverkeeper Network (PRKN), and a native Marylander. Ms. Bench's work helps to oversee the PRKN's water quality monitoring program, an important volunteer-led initiative to help the Riverkeepers respond to pollutant threats in a faster and targeted manner. Additionally she helps to coordinate a variety of events and programs including the organizations Trash Free and Swimmable Potomac campaigns.
The PRKN is a Riverkeeper™ organization dedicated to the mission of protecting the public’s right to clean water in the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers and their tributaries. We stop pollution to enhance the safety of our drinking water, protect healthy river habitats, and enhance public use and enjoyment.
Taylor Swanson - is the Communications & Southern MD Outreach Coordinator for Interfaith Partners for the Chesapeake, helping faithful stewards across his region identify and pursue environmental service on behalf of their congregation.
Through our programming and services, Interfaith Partners for the Chesapeake helps congregations of faith form, grow, and support Faithful Green Teams to take action on behalf of the Chesapeake Bay watershed. To date, more than 120 congregations of faith have signed IPC's Partner Congregation Pledge, having in turn inspired and created more than 600 other events, programs, and projects on behalf of the Chesapeake Bay.
