Third Haven Friends Meeting has been worshiping on their sprawling grounds in Easton since 1684. Third Haven Friends Meeting are active stewards of their land, with many environmentally-minded members working to be stewards of the Chesapeake Bay. Along the edge of their property, Third Haven Friends Meeting has planted native trees providing habitat and filtering stormwater runoff. They hope to add additional native trees to their property, creating habitat for birds and other wildlife. An upcoming project is working to remove invasive plants, such as English Ivy, that are affecting some of their existing trees. Third Haven Friends Meeting is working on a long-range plan for their campus, keeping environmental impact and concerns close in mind.
