St. Michael the Archangel has an active green team. They are currently working on raising funds for the first phase of their Green Project, which involves converting the property of the Parish Center into a greener and much more natural space. They have designed and posted a poster in the front of the church illustrating and explaining the different water conservation methods proposed for the Green Project. In the summer of 2019 they hosted a 3-part workshop series on climate change and watershed restoration which attracted nearly 100 attendees. Since February 2020, St. Michael the Archangel has posted weekly Green Mondays articles for parishioners as well as individuals within and outside of the surrounding community.  The goal is to slowly sensitize readers by touching on individual issues and providing simple objectives for the week.
