Lets show Earth some love for Valentine's Day!

There are so many sustainable actions that we can take to demonstrate our love for the Chesapeake Bay.  Join for a special Valentine's Day themed learning opportunity all about different sustainable choices you can make to benefit the Chesapeake region!

Come see what clever suggestions our fabulous guest speakers have for this beloved day of love.

Our Guest Speakers

Imani Black, is an intergenerational African American oyster farmer from Maryland's Eastern Shore and founder of Minorities in Aquaculture (MIA).  Through this work, Imani hopes to help bridge gaps between minority women and sustainable seafood by providing the support for women of color throughout their education, and beyond.

Josh Chamberlain, is the founder of Go Green OC, an environmental non-profit dedicated to transforming Ocean City Maryland into the first zero waste resort town in the United States.  Under Josh's leadership, the organization has achieved numerous victories in the fight for a cleaner, healthier planet, including the launch of a city wide compost program with a food-diversion rate of nearly 400,000 pounds total.
