Sandy Spring Friends Meeting is a congregation (monthly meeting) of 200-300 members and attenders.  They have undertaken projects including: installing solar panels, developing and maintaining rain gardens, creating an environmentally conscious design for a new community building, maintaining a graveyard and memorial grove, and assisting a neighboring church with a new rain garden.
