Our Care for Creation Commission is responsible for educating our 150-plus families about our responsibilities for Earth Stewardship and the tools available to us as individuals, as a community, and as a world to respond to Climate Change. Care for Creation is an on-going mission of our parish.

In 2017 Saint James' and Bth Shalom Congregation installed an Interfaith Greenway, a beautiful installation between the two buildings. The Interfaith Greenway is a project funded by Chesapeake Bay Trust and a State of Maryland bond bill. Through dry wells, grading, native plant species, and stone pathways, the Greenway is now a lovely space for our communities to share and for our early childhood centers to learn more about nature.
