People's Community Lutheran Church has jumped into creation care, with many new and ongoing projects at their congregation! Working with Blue Water Baltimore, they received both a design and an implementation grant from Chesapeake Bay Trust for retrofitting their parking lot. This retrofit allows for better mitigation of stormwater flowing over and running off of the parking lot. The Chesapeake Bay Trust Grant additionally included educational activities for People's Community Lutheran Church's congregants and neighborhood. They have also hosted a pop up GROW center for Baltimore's Department of Public Works.

People's Community Lutheran Church can always use help maintaining their gardens and are happy to host tours of the parking lot for other congregations who might be interested in doing a similar project.
