Come learn how to remove invasive vines and get your hands dirty with Third Haven Friends Meeting!
Third Haven Friends Meeting, in collaboration with Talbot Green Hands, ShoreRivers, Maryland Forest Service and the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, will be holding an invasive vine removal training session on May 18th, 2026.
Come learn how to remove invasive vines and put your skills into practice at Third Haven.
This training will focus on best practices for vine removal. Some gloves and other tools needed for the vine removal will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own (labeled) tools. Please be sure to dress for the weather and wear long sleeves as poison ivy and tick encounters are possible. Please wear close-toed shoes and bring water in a reusable bottle, as well!
