Whether you’ve been involved with IPC for years or are just getting to know us, everyone is welcome.
This is an unique opportunity to network with fellow stewards/green team members, partners and IPC staff & board.
We’re especially excited to show whats growing at IPC with our soft launch IPC’s new Membership Platform during the Open House! The Membership Platform is a new way for our community to stay connected with IPC and with one another. We’ll share more about what membership will look like, the opportunities it will offer, and how you can be part of this growing community.
Part of what makes this evening special is where we’re gathering.
Cylburn has been part of Baltimore’s story for more than 150 years. The historic mansion was built in the 1800s as the summer home of Jesse Tyson, a Baltimore businessman and chromium magnate, and was designed by George A. Frederick, who later designed Baltimore City Hall.
The City of Baltimore purchased the property in 1942, and over the years Cylburn evolved from a private estate into a public garden and nature preserve. In 1982, it officially became Cylburn Arboretum, and today its 200 acres of gardens, trees, trails, and historic buildings offer a beautiful place for Baltimore residents and visitors to connect with nature.
Guests will have an exclusive opportunity to explore the historic Cylburn Mansion and Arboretum, including complimentary tours throughout the evening. Come enjoy the fall colors, take a walk through the arboretum, and experience this beautiful landmark during peak harvest season.
There will be plenty of time to mingle and enjoy some light fare and beverages provided by Absolutely Perfect Catering.
And yes — ample free parking is available on site!
Bring a Friend!
This is a friendraising event, and we hope you’ll bring someone along. Invite a friend, colleague, fellow Green Team member, or anyone who might enjoy meeting the IPC community and learning more about our work.
Most importantly, this event is free and open to everyone!
We can’t wait to fellowship with you!
