GREEN MITZVATHON SHABBATON
Friday, May 2nd-Sunday, May 4th 2025 At the Myerberg Center 3101 Fallstaff Road, Baltimore 21209 Our Scholar in Residence is Rabbi Nina Beth Cardin, nationally recognized authority on Jewish environmentalism. We will explore YISHUV OLAM--our covenant to care for the earth, raise awareness of our responsibilities as Jewish people to be good stewards of the environment, and engage participants in learning about actions they can take, both small and large, to commit to changing behaviors. |
Please join Chevrei Tzedek for a weekend of Jewish environmentalism and the mitzvah of caring for creation. They thrilled to invite members of the community to Shabbat services on Friday night, Saturday morning and Saturday evening which will be accompanied by dinner/luncheon and learning sessions led by the Scholar in Residence, Rabbi Nina Beth Cardin.
On Sunday May 4th from 12-4, Chevrei Tzedek will host an Environmental Fair, with guest speakers, vendors promoting solar, composting and recycling, vegan food and children’s activities. There will be door prizes and drawings.
