Join Ascension Lutheran Church to celebrate creation care and learn about faithful, responsible stewardship of the natural world! 

One April 7th at 1pm, Ascension will host an educational day with presentations by staff from Interfaith Partners for the Chesapeake and Waxwing Ecoworks Co who will talk about our spiritual connection to nature and our waterways; the importance of watershed health and creation care; and how to create native habitats and steward the Earth with care. We will also reflect on the ways Ascension has been taking actions to protect their local waterways and create habitat for native pollinators, songbirds, and more! 

Attendees will also have the opportunity to take home a native tree or shrub to plant on their own property, generously provided courtesy of Stroud Water Research Center. We hope you will come learn and celebrate with us!
