April 25th - 10AM - 5PM  "Life Overlooked."  An exhibition of photographs and videos featuring the diversity of life on Earth and advocating for protecting Earth's biodiversity.  This includes images, provided by The Biodiversity Group, captured by children around the world who are learning to treasure the many, often overlooked living things around them.  The exhibition is at Maryland Presbyterian Church, 1105 Providence Road, Towson, Maryland 21286.  Co-sponsors are Interfaith Partners for the Chesapeake, The Natural History Society of Maryland and The Gunpowder Valley Conservancy. 


 

April 19th - 2 pm "This Fragile Earth: Our Island Home", a panel discussion hosted by Emmanuel Church as part of the Chestertown's Earth Stewardship Days. 101 North Cross Street, Chestertown Maryland. Details here.


April 19th -  2-5 PM Sacred Grounds Workshop for Montgomery County congregations, Adat Shalom, 7727 Persimmon Tree Lane, Bethesda, Montgomery County, MD. To Register please RSVP to Elizabeth Stevens at [email protected] YOU are invited to join us for a FREE WORKSHOP where you can learn how to beautify your congregation’s grounds and reduce its environmental footprint by creating wildlife habitat and rain gardens, through the National  Wildlife Federation’s Sacred Grounds Program and the Montgomery County RainScapes Rewards program that offers rebates for habitat projects that reduce stormwater runoff.

March 28th - 1-4 PM First Christian Church Community Visioning Session, 5802 Roland Ave., Baltimore, MD 21210. Members and stakeholders who share space at First Christian Church - St. Andrews Christian Community, Congregation Bet T'kivah, The Gathering of Baltimore, and Mt. Olivet Christian Church will come together in faith to form a plan to restore creation by reducing polluted stormwater from congregational grounds as part of the Blue Water Congregations Program. March 15th- 2:00-4:45 PM Waters of the Chesapeake- Learn how you can help make the Bay cleaner and healthier. Feb 12th @ 7:30 - Baltimore Food and Faith Project and the Marc Steiner Show will screen the movie Food Chains at Red Emma’s (30 W. North Ave Baltimore, MD 21201). Following the movie, there will be a panel discussion moderated by Marc Steiner.
