Catholic Community of South Baltimore is a community of faith committed to sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ in South Baltimore through prayer, service, and friendship. Their Green Team is focused on bringing the principles of Laudato Si’ to life in their parish. This group hosts events for all ages that invite them to care for God’s creation. Events include trash pickups and tree planting in their neighborhoods, caring for the garden at their South Baltimore Retreat House, tending to the greenery on their campus, and more. Their goal is to teach and model how to live eco-friendly lives through small actions to create big change for the future. They partner with other local organizations who have the same mission to make the biggest impact possible.
