The Bet Aviv Green Team has been active for years and has spearheaded events such as the virtual screening of "From the Ashes" during the Covid pandemic. The team plays an active role with Oakland Mills Interfaith Center's Green Team as well, supporting their efforts in community education and projects. Bet Aviv has helped coordinate the OMI Green Spring Fling, Doug Tallamy's "Bringing Nature Home" guest speaker engagement, hosting "The Greening of OMI" webinar, helping with their composting program and rain garden maintenance events-the list goes on and on.
