In the brand new global tradition of Bedikat Hamayim, launched this year by Repair the Sea, we'll be checking local waterways (a Columbia stream) for trash. Please join us. All are welcome but spots are limited. We'll meet at 1pm in the Long Reach Village Center parking lot, close to the street. From there, we'll walk a short distance to the stream.
We'll be providing latex-type gloves, trash bags and trash grabbers. Please bring shoes you don't mind getting wet or muddy, a water bottle, and snacks if you want. Of course, please dress for the weather.
Here's the CJC event page, which has a link to the Repair the Sea registration page. Please note that in order to register you must fill out a liability waiver.
