Stick-in-the-muds Mary Trask and her husband, Thaddeus, eke out their hardscrabble life on a
farm on the borderline between Northern and Southern states. The year is 1863. They care little
for concerns that don’t coming knocking at their door, that is until a wounded Union soldier with
Confederate soldiers hot in pursuit seeks refuge in their home.

Remember:

  • Bring your Own Zero Waste Picnic Dinner & Drinks-There is a Royal Farms and a Subway nearby if you want to pick something up on the way
  • Bring a blanket to spread, folding chairs and a pop up canopy
  • Bring a yoga mat if you have one and want to participate

*Important:

Note: For walking in the woods wear long pants and sturdy walking shoes as some of the paths are not paved and steep in some areas

Dress for the weather.

Bring gardening gloves to help in the native plant garden

Be sure to include your phone number when you register in case of inclement weather cancellation. Decision to be made by noon.
