Allen African Methodist Episcopal Church (AMEC) is located in west Baltimore. In the Fall of 2020, Allen launched Pathway Forward, Inc., as its community engagement entity. The purpose of Pathway Forward is to build the human, social, and physical capacity of Baltimore City. Creating a community learning garden is one of the ways we will promote, create, and maintain sustainable green space for locally grown organic herbs and vegetables. Our learning garden is a safe space for the community to gather, share life giving stories, connect with the soil and plants to improve the wellbeing of or neighborhood.
