By signing the IPC Partner Congregation Pledge faith communities are making a public commitment to:

Celebrate, respect, and revere the Earth’s blessings

Demonstrate good stewardship in how we manage our land and facilities

Engage members of our community in the work of caring for the environment

Embrace the mission of Interfaith Partners for the Chesapeake to work together to protect and restore our shared watershed

To date, over 120 congregations have signed IPC’s Partner Congregation Pledge, joining a growing movement of faithful, green stewards across the Chesapeake Bay watershed.  In 2022, 32 congregations from across the watershed signed the Pledge.  This year, Manassas Church of the Brethren became the first congregation from Virginia to sign the Pledge.  This community of creation care is always growing!

Reach out to your IPC regional coordinator to learn more, and see if the Partner Pledge is right for your congregation!
