The Nepali American Cultural Center has had several site visits to help them to determine what stormwater practices would be best to install on their extensive grounds. Working with partners from the Gunpowder Valley Conservancy, they plan on applying for grants to help them to form a stewardship driven vision for their property. They hope to plant many trees, create a greenhouse to grow native plants and teach their children and surrounding communities about the importance of caring for the environment. All are welcome to join Hindu & Buddhist faith people when they gather in weekend and special days & festivals, regular worship, bhajan and prayers/prarthana, and meditation.
