Join Fairhaven United Methodist Church, Interfaith Partners for the Chesapeake, and Interfaith Power & Light for a FUN family friendly Earth Day Festival on Sunday April 21, 12pm - 2pm! 

The Fairhaven Green Team has organized a series of intergenerational activities for the Earth Festival, which include:
- Children’s activities, games and prizes
- A native plant giveaway
- Resources about gardening - including non-toxic weed killers.
- Recycling presentation from Montgomery County Office of Recycling

Environmental resources will be available to show what you can do to care for Creation in our local community and watershed. The church is also partnering with local businesses to receive corporate donations of tools, raised beds, fertilizer, and plantings. 

Fairhaven United Methodist Church's environmental mission is: "to seek God’s presence with us as we join hands with neighbors receiving the gifts of nature and learning how to be good stewards of what God has blessed us."
