Bright Side Baptist Church is new to creation care and has started by planting native plants on their grounds. They participated in IPC's "Trees of Peace" program. As a guest speaker at our Unity Tree planting, Rev. John Knight remarked on how, even in a country that is seemingly so divided, communities of faith can come together through our love for creation to do such healing work as planting trees. Their Green Team Chair Francine Harley says she has aspirations for the church to become a Sacred Grounds congregation and to be ever more reflective of the church's name - Bright Side!
