Stewardship is one of the core values of the Quaker faith. At Annapolis Friends Meeting, they believe it is the responsibility of each of us to care for our planet and the life it contains while working to promote sustainable lifestyles, biodiversity, and environmental justice.

At Annapolis Friends Meeting there are many examples of how they are environmental stewards, including the use of solar panels to provide electricity for their building and for charging electric vehicles. The compost bin is available to all and the collection of rainwater runoff system feeds the gardens.

Some of their initiatives include their compost program, hosting plant sales in the spring, electric vehicle charging, CCAN’s Polar Bear Plunge, and installing solar panels.
