Adelphi Friends Meeting is a Quaker Meeting in Adelphi, Maryland. In 2023 they formed a Climate Action Working Group that is committed to addressing climate change. Their activities in the first year included organizing two "Repair Cafes," holding a native plant sale at the Meeting's Strawberry Festival, and educating themselves and their community about climate change and policy actions. Adelphi Friends Meeting recognizes that the earth community is in an increasingly visible crisis and they strive for sustainable lives in order that all of creation might flourish both now and long into the future. They have a "Sustainability Minute" that guides their work.
