- She was born in Charlotte, NC, raised in Newark, NJ and educated in the Newark Public School System. She is the oldest of 5 children, mother of 7 children and grandmother of 14. Wife of Rev. Anthony L. Forman.
- Completed her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees at the University of Maryland, University College and completed her Doctor of Education at Morgan State University. She studied at the International Harvest Bible Training Center.
