To recap on our first in the series, on Monday, January 18th the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service culminated in the first in our Environmental Justice Film Screening and Panel Discussion series based on the film "Unbreathable: The Fight for Healthy Air". Over 150 people registered for this event from as far away as Arizona.

Hosted by the Columbia Jewish Congregation along with the Howard County MLK Holiday Commission, the Howard County Branch of the NAACP, IPC and our other partners (see below) offered an online screening of the powerful new documentary, "Unbreathable: The Fight for Healthy Air", followed by a discussion on Zoom with a panel of experts.

During our discussion of the film we talked about what our congregations can do locally to effect change in our community. To watch the recording of the panel discussion click here. Rebecca Rehr's, Director, Climate for Health, slides can be found here. IPC's slides can be found here
