Come help Saint Bartholomew's clear urban woods of litter and weeds!

IPC, Mt. St. Joseph’s High School green team, and St. Bartholomew’s Church Creation Caretakers have teamed up with Baltimore City Parks and Recreation (BCPR) to hold a MAJOR cleanup Friday, July 19, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. of woods alongside Uplands Parkway Road and Maiden Choice Run streambed. Park in the St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church parking lot, 4711 Edmondson Avenue, Baltimore City.

Pickup litter in woods and along street gutters and bike path; Clear woods of invasive plants and vines under guidance of weed warriors; Serve as event’s roaming photographer; Staff the drinking water station and hose-off station; Carry trash to an onsite collection station. Certified weed warrior leaders to supervise work teams.

Protect yourself from ticks and poison ivy: wear long pants, shoes and socks, and gloves. Bring a reusable water bottle. Donuts and trash bags, along with some grabbers, work gloves, and weed-clearing tools will be provided.
