You are invited to a workday this Saturday at First Lutheran Church in their pollinator garden, rain gardens, and stormwater pond.  Please stop by if you are able to assist. And, if you haven’t seen all our facilities, They are happy to show you around.  We have 6 different types of BMP/Stormwater management applications!  And, more than 2 dozen types of native plants!!!

A few things they are doing:

-Planting homegrown natives in the pollinator garden, some Butterfly Weed seeds, and mulching.

-Relocating overgrown plants from large gardens to elsewhere on the property.

-Removing invasive weeds from the large rain gardens and harvesting native plant seeds.

-A small section of turf removal and mulching to protect Mountain Laurel.

-Small repair of the inlet at stormwater
