Rachel was born and raised in Maryland, and had an interest in the natural world around her from an early age. Her curiosity led her to pursue a degree in Cell & Molecular Biology from Salisbury University. Her professional experience includes managing the wine club and events at a winery in California, coordinating outreach for a program at the zoo, and owning and operating a home organizing business. Rachel enjoys spending her time gardening, cooking, and hiking with her family - her husband, 3 daughters, their dog, and big extended family.
