Planting Trees Planting Hope! Interfaith Youth Service & Tree Planting 

Sunday, Oct.14th 1:30 PM

Join us for an afternoon of inspiring future faithful green leaders in an interfaith service focused on our youth and then taking action together by planting 100+ trees.  Limited bus transportation available for youth groups and families. Offered as part of our One Water Partnership Jones Falls program and Interfaith Power & Light's "Climate in The Pulpits" effort. Over 30 congregations in the Jones Falls watershed in Baltimore City/County have committed to taking action to improve the health of their community. Click HERE for more information.

  • environmental movie screenings,
  • tree plantings,
  • rain barrel workshops
  • native tree and plant sales
  • spiritual nature walks
  • rain garden and conservation landscaping installations
  • energy audits
  • solar energy workshops
  • inspirational bus tours to view best management practices
  • stream and trash clean ups

IPC, along with our program partners, act as “personal trainers” to them help them to build and grow a “Green Team” for their congregations.
