Join us for a workshop to learn about opportunities for taking action within Montgomery County to heal our local waters.
Here's what you will experience:
- Presentations from Montgomery County Staff from the Department of the Environment inform us about the RainScapes Program and the Residential Energy Program.
- A Virtual Site Visit to see the Interfaith Greenway Project (photo right - Montgomery County RainScapes) installed on the grounds of Beth Sholom Synagogue and St. James Episcopal Church, located next to each other.
- Additional Resource organizations have been invited to offer ideas and answer your questions: Interfaith Power & Light, Maryland Sea Grant, Sacred Grounds Program of the National Wildlife Federation, Rock Creek Conservancy, Muddy Branch Alliance, and Friends of Cabin John Creek.
