Learn about the primary causes and solutions of water pollution and how to communicate this to your congregation. Our first guest speaker was Darcy Herman, Associate Program Manager for the Gunpowder Conservancy, who presented an excellent overview of "watershed 101" and stormwater pollution sources and actions to take. Our other presenter was Shane Robinson, Executive Director of Trash Free Maryland, who focused on trash pollution and how we can make a difference by engaging in advocacy efforts which implement policies for reducing trash and support clean healthy waters!

We also heard from green leaders of two congregations who have taken action to care for their local waters, Salman Sheikh, Islamic Society of Baltimore, and Phillip Colbert of Mount Moriah AME Church, Annapolis.
