Come learn how to remove vines and get your hands dirty with Third Haven Friends Meeting!
Third Haven Friends Meeting, in collaboration with Talbot Green Hands and Interfaith partners for the Chesapeake, is holding invasive vine removal training sessions on November 15th and 16th. Come learn how to remove invasive vines for part one on November 15th, before putting your skills into practice at Third Haven on the 16th for part two.
Part One: This training will focus on best practices for vine removal. This session will be both in-person and virtual on Zoom. The Zoom link will be sent out the day before training by email.
Part Two: Will be in-person at Third Haven; some gloves and other tools needed for vine removal will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own (labeled) tools. Please be sure to dress for the weather and wear long sleeves as poison ivy and tick encounters are possible. Please wear close-toed shoes and bring water in a reusable bottle, as well!
