Where Homewood Friends Meetinghouse 3107 N Charles St, Baltimore, MD 21218, United States

This 90-minute hands-on workshop will provide an overview of the scientific support for and practical application of habitat gardening, for the benefit of birds, people, and our urban environment. We’ll hear how to transform our home, school, work, or community space into a native oasis, even practicing mapping out our own garden. Participants will come away with background knowledge on gardening with native plants and be able to explore resources on beautifying their outdoor space while attracting birds, butterflies, and other beneficial wildlife.

Homewood has invited Erin Reed Miller of Mid-Atlantic Audubon to present this workshop.
