God's Water Heroes, Splash Into Living Waters Vacation Bible School or Sunday School Curriculum
God's Water Heroes, Splash Into Living Waters, offers interactive games, activities, and learning for elementary through middle school students. The modules are: 1) Water at the Beginning of Creation; 2) Water is Life; 3) Trees for Life; 4) Loving Our Neighbor: Caring for Water; 5) God’s “still small voice” in nature (1 Kings 19:11-13) and BONUS: 6) Streams in the Wasteland (Trash Reduction).
The program can be offered in a variety of ways:
-A half or full day camp with field trips in the afternoon to local Nature Centers, Parks or waterways (e.g. Baltimore Harbor & Mr. Trash Wheel, Masonville Cove, Anacostia River, Jug Bay Nature Center, Accokeek Foundation).
-An evening intergenerational program beginning with dinner and praise service.
-A weekly Bible Study on weekday evening or Sunday morning.

Training date: Saturday, May 18 from 10 AM to 2 PM
Location: Thanks to Gwynn Oak United Methodist Church for hosting the workshop.

While the training is free of charge we ask each church to either download and print your own copy of the manual (we will provide the document to you well before the training) or reimburse IPC $30 for each printed manual you will need. Also, the charge for each outdoor banner, if you need one, is $35. Once you register we will work out details and payment.
