Divinity Lutheran Church is partnering with Interfaith Partners for the Chesapeake, and our friend Peter Brooks to offer the "The Haudenosaunee Thanksgiving Address", an ancient and revered tradition, represents the world's oldest continuously operating government and embodies a profound understanding of the interconnectedness of all life. This sacred practice, deeply rooted in spiritual reverence for the Creator and the Earth, offers a blueprint for achieving harmony and balance with the natural world.

Divinity Lutheran welcomes everyone to a service of "Giving Thanks" for all of the accomplishments brought from their participation in the Clear Creeks Program led by the Gunpowder Valley Conservancy, a technical partner in IPC's One Water Partnership program.

Please join them for the Thanksgiving Address and stay for the rest of the service, that will include a bluegrass liturgy "Of Lands and the Seasons" that will likely wrap up around noon, with refreshments and fellowship right after

Divinity Lutheran Church is committed to caring for all of creation, serving as stewards for the earth, and loving our neighbors as ourselves. We have worked to live into this call over the last year this through education, building and strengthening community relationships, and enhancing our site and stewardship practices. We look forward to continuing and expanding these efforts into the future through continued partnership with GVC, IPC, CBT, and other individuals & communities, working to give thanks for all we receive through creation and honoring our relationships with each other and the world around us.
