Clean water begins in YOUR backyard!

You’re invited to drop by Gunpowder Valley Conservancy (GVC)’s Clear Creeks Project Open House for hands-on activities, info sessions, garden tours, free food, and camaraderie. This year, GVC has been working with Divinity Lutheran Church (1220 Providence Road, Towson, MD 21286) to install multiple Bay-Wise practices that reduce stormwater runoff to our local waterways. The Open House is a great time to stop by and see their accomplishments and learn how you can implement similar practices at your home, business, or faith-based congregation.

The Open House will feature drop-in activities where you can:

Learn fall maintenance best practices for your native garden, including pruning trees
Tour the church’s new conservation gardens and rain barrels
Connect with Baltimore-area Green Teams and environmental organizations, including Interfaith Partners for the Chesapeake and Master Gardeners
