Join IPC, Maryland Catholics for Our Common Home (MCCH), the Maryland Episcopal Public Policy Network (MEPPN), and the Maryland Bottle Bill Coalition on Friday, February 14th, from 11am - noon, in Annapolis for a Rally in Support of the Maryland Bottle Bill (HB 232/SB 346)!

Bottle_Bill_photo.jpgWhat: Rally in support of the Maryland Bottle Bill (HB 232/SB 346) sponsored by Delegate Terrasa and Senator Brooks.
When: Friday, February 14, at 11 am - Noon.
Where: Lawyer's Mall (Between Maryland’s State house and College Ave in Annapolis)
Why: Maryland needs a Bottle Bill NOW to reduce beverage container litter and plastic pollution! Beverage containers are more than half of litter in the waterways, by volume. A small refundable deposit on beverage containers is an incentive to return the empties for the refund, instead of littering or tossing the container in the trash!

We will have the event rain or shine. Please bring umbrellas, and raincoats in case it rains.

Getting There:
Please consider carpooling to the event.

A full list of parking garages in the area can be found here: https://www.annapolisparking.com/parking-locations/garages-and-lots/. Common parking spots are the garage at Gotts Court Parking Garage Near the Visitors' Center at 250 Northwest Street right after Rowe Blvd. veers off the to the right before turning into Bladen Street (it is $3-$15 depending on how long you stay). If that is full, try the Whitmore parking garage on 25 Clay Street, which is only a few blocks away. The stadium off Rowe Boulevard is also an option (turn right off Rowe Blvd onto Taylor Ave., pass the stadium on the right and turn right into the parking entrance) which costs $10 for parking and $2 each way for the shuttle.

Will you come?
