Fall Green Fest
Join the Beaverdam Green Team' Fall GreenFest, on Sunday, October 8th.
The event will begin with a "Blessing of the Animals" at 11:30 AM
Then the Fall Green Fest will run from noon to 2:00 PM, featuring free pumpkins and other giveaways, information tables, and vendors in the Sherwood Episcopal Church parking lot. Learn about the new $1.7 million grant that will install stormwater practices at Sherwood Episcopal that will help alleviate flooding on York Road. Tour the newly installed rain garden tour at Faith Lutheran Church right across the street.
Admission is free.
The Beaverdam Green Team is made up of representatives from Faith Lutheran Church, Sherwood Episcopal Church, and Bazil AME Church and is sponsored by Interfaith Partners for the Chesapeake's One Water Partnership Program.
